I received a phone call on 4/26/2012, from the East Lancaster area, this home has block walls surrounding the backyard and is in a well populated area. The caller stated they had a baby rattlesnake in their backyard. I responded to the call and upon arriving at the home identified the 12-16 inch baby rattler as a Mojave Green - one of the most poisonous rattlesnakes that there is.
Please do not attempt to take care of this type of problem yourself as this is a very dangerous snake and it's bite will cause a life threatening situation!
